An evening on the transformation of the Bachgraben

On 24 September 2026, ALBA HAUS opened its doors for an evening of architecture, conversation and good company. Guests from architecture, real estate, business and health came together to follow the story of the Bachgraben site – from a first idea to a district that is coming to life.

Pierre de Meuron shared a personal perspective on the site and its transformation in his keynote. Cyliane Howald guided us through the evening, and Pascal Steffen of roots Basel created a flying dinner that turned the house into a place to linger. Between the courses, there was time for what ALBA HAUS is built for: real encounters.
